March 7

Sing a Song

Sing a Song of Spring!
(Tune: Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star)

Spring, spring is coming soon,
Grass is green and flowers bloom.
Birds returning from the south,
Bees are buzzing all about.
Leaves are budding everywhere,
Spring, spring is finally here!

Try This

Spring is a great time for a picnic! Try to have a picnic today at a local park, in your yard, or even inside your house! Talk about daylight savings time and why we “spring ahead” an hour. Have your child help you change the clocks, when the time comes!

Read a Book

Here are some book recommendations for today. Check out the picture book collection at your local library, where there are lots of books to choose from! Find nearby libraries.

  • What This Story Needs is a Munch and a Crunch  by Emma J. Virján
